Back in April we visited a church pioneer park called "this is the place", but it was close to closing time so they were packing up for the day so we just had a little look around... On Friday they were adveristing a FREE day (it would have cost me $34 otherwise), so with Gaz being busy studying we thought it would be a good time to check it out again....
Unfortunately, so did half of Utah.... It was VERY crowded and a bit warm. There was a HUGE line up for the free ice cream and an even bigger one for the train.. PLEASE TRAIN... Eden would say....
The Park is full of things to do, lots of different buildings to go and see how it was for the people back in the 1800's... Because there was SO many people we didn't get around all the park but i was just happy taking some pics while the kids patted the animals..
Yes it was a LONG wait for the train...
I loved all the Handcarts, Phebe is going on TREK (which will be another post) on Thursday...Po's enemy is stairs and mine will be the handcarts , Phebe said....
Maybe I will go back and enjoy it when it's not so crowded.....

I've been there - it's a fun place to visit. I don't think it cost anything when we went ALL those years ago though :)
