Festival of Books

Since being in the USA both of our girls have become readers, something just clicked and now they both have a collection of books that they had enjoyed... (reading to them seemed more like a chore, than a passion). Yesterday BYU held the Festival of Books which we headed down to check it out.. Phebe wanted to go to get one of her favourite books signed by the author.

David Archuleta was one of the main draw cards for the younger audience (came 2nd in Amercian Idol and from Utah). But there was heaps of other things to do and see.. They had Kids Activities, Guest Speakers, Author Signings, Movies, heaps of different displays and giveaways

Eden made a bookmark at one of the booths.

Anna got her set of books signed by one of her favourite Authors..

We even got to have a photo with some well know book characters..

Pooh Bear told us that he was excited about his new movie coming out soon..Tigger was also very happy to be in Utah too....

Eden's favourite bit was the FREE jumping castle's....

Eden (Eliza stole them) and I won these very cool Harry Potter glasses... Don't we just look cute!!!!!!

We had a great afternoon and thanks Phebe for nagging us to go because it was lots of FUN and no money exchanged hands... hahahaha
