For the last 2 days I have been lucky enough to attend Womens Conference. I even made it into the local newspaper. Check it out..... Women spiritually edified at conference Universe.byu.edu

Idaho Easter

Easter this year was spent with the Thueson Family in Idaho Falls after the Bear World visit we went to the Fire Station for an Easter Egg Hunt... (Dave is a Fireman)

Eden and Ashlyn had a great time finding some eggs.....

Afterwards we went to for a drive around the city. Like The Gorge back home, The banks of the Snake River were aslo full and the water was moving very fast..

This year they have so much slow so there is flood warnings everywhere, because all the excess water they wil have when it melts..

In the afternoon we have fun dying eggs. It was the first time we had done them and we are going to do them next year...

On Sunday morning we had another Easter Egg Hunt where Easter Bunny left some filled plastic eggs and some dyed eggs>>>

Yes Eden is in the same clothes as she fell asleep the night before so I just put her into bed...

For Lunch we had Ham ( Ham is BIG for Easter) and Funeral Potatoes and a Snicker Salad, which I will have to post about... IT was ALL Yummy

The Snicker Salad had the following ingredients in it, so invite around for dinner and this is what I'll bring..........

Bear World

Since Gary wasn't able to have time off at Spring Break, we took the girls out of school on Friday and packed up the minivan and headed to Idaho ( about 4 1/2 hrs away) to catch up with the Thueson Family .... On Friday we went to Rexburg before heading to the Thuesons at Ammon (near Idaho Falls) on the way up we past BEAR WORLD, but it was closed....

They were having their opening weekend for the season on Saturday , so we headed back there on Saturday...You drive around through the park (windows up) and the bears just walk around, minding their own business

Some were sleeping and sitting in the sun (yes it was a nice day, even though it snowed on Friday)....
Others just walked around and never stayed in the same spot and you had to keep the car moving, they didn't want you to come to a complete stop..

After you drove around they had a another section of the park where the baby cubs were, they like the older bears wouldn't stay still either...

They also had a Petting Zoo, where you could go pat and feed all different kinds of animals..

Gary's favourite animal in the petting zoo was this Pig.. He waved this tail just like a dog every time Gary spoke to him...

They even had a couple of rides you could go on , when you wanted a break from the animalsSince it was there Opening weekend for the season they also held an Easter egg hunt..

Eden didn't know what to do,she was just happy following Ashlyn....

We had a blast at Bear World and VERY glad that we drove back and spent some time there...

Move over Toms!!

Today is graduation day at BYU , heaps of people around... Anyone would think that Jimmer was back in town.. ( i think he was graduating to)...... So in honour of all those 2011 graduate's I brought these AWESOME shoes from Walmart... $10....

Aren't they great....

I was excited when I came to the States and was able to buy a pair of TOMS...

But move over TOMS my Y shoes are now my favourite!!!!

Trafalga Fun Center

During the week we went with the Haynes Family to the Trafalgar Fun Center.. We have brought seasons pass to the Water Park here and it's includes free entry to other Fun Centers...

The center at Lehi had heaps of fun things to do.. Our favourite thing was Laser Tag and the best bit about it was that Eden was tall enough to do it as well... The first time we went in, we really didn't know what we were doing , but by the second we all got on the same team and were pro's....

They also had an arcade area, playground (just like one's at Maccas) Rock Climbing, Go Carts and inside and indoor mini golf...

The indoor one was called Hawaiian nights and had a pineapple smell throughout it... It was pretty cool....

It was a nice day so we spent sometime outside as well.... Eliza had fun on the carousel and airplanes..

The Water boats were also fun......

We ALL got a little wet...

But Eden got wet the most......

It was a fun day and we will be going back again and the good thing is that it's open til 10pm...

And it doesn't cost a thing!!!!

Off to the Zoo...

This week while Gary was hard studying for exams the girls and I traveled up to Salt Lake City to visit the Zoo.. It was really cheap... $9 for adults and $7 for kids....

You could get really close to the animals.....

They had the old favourite animals....

and the one that look like family members!!! ...... hahah

and some Amercian Favourites......

and a train ride around some of the zoo...

and animal themed carousel.......

and lots of places you could take photo's.....

and when your finished the kids could have a play on the HUGE playground....

Even the BIG kids....

We had a great day at the Zoo (the sun was out) and will definitely go back again......

Yes, we will take Gary next time......

Phebe turns 14 !

On the Sunday Phebe turned 14, she has been talking about it since her 13th birthday.. Since her birthday fell on a Sunday we went out for dinner Friday night...

Saturday Anna came around and brought her a cupcake and BYU poster..

Anna ended up staying for dinner and helped the girls babysit Eden (we attended the night session of stake conference).. It was great having Anna here..

Of course Phebe spent some of the day, checking her facebook!!!!

On Sunday morning Phebe had to be up and ready as there was an Youth meeting at church with a guest speaker (Elder Chrissoffterson)..and then another 2hr meeting for families....

In the afternoon we went for a quick drive to the Mount TimpanogousTemple...

And finished the day of with a Snickers cake...... YUMMY.... but rich!!!!!!

Phebe had an AWESOME day......

And the best thing is that I don't even feel old!!!!!
