All dressed up!!

Today Oscar our dog had a very needed hair cut.. When he came home he was wearing a very stylish bandanna.. He looks very handsome.. I wonder how long it will stay on..

Feed your Family

Tonight I decided to make a recipe from the Coles "feed your family"recipe booklet.. It is promoting meals that can feed a family of 4 for $10.... I wanted to try one and see if it was really under $10.

So I thought I'd make the "Pork curry with pineapple and snow peas.... "

So off to the super market I went...And under $10 dollars it was..

Not only was it cheap, it was a hit with the kids...( Gaz isn't home yet)..

So I'm off to by more ingredients to try the other 6 recipe's...

So if you haven't tried one off them yet..

Phebster is 13 !!!

Today was Phebe 13th Birthday.... So it all began on Wednesday when her Nan took her to go and get her ear pierced...She finally wanted them done.. So the birthday continued with Lizzie coming over Friday night for a sleepover.. They done a whole range off things, but one off them is taking randoms photo's all night.. Phebe likes taking photo's and is always using mine... I find all these randoms things on my SD card....:(

So she was VERY happy when she got a camera for her birthday, so the day was filled with more random photo's......

Phebe loves going out to breakfast, so we went to the Country Club to have a BUFFET BREAKFAST.. It was yummy.. The girls ate all the hash browns I think!!!! Eden was being a bit naughty while we were trying to eat, so Gary took her outside to see the ducks, but when she was chasing the ducks, one of the Native Hens came up and attacked her and left a big scratch on the side off her face!!!!! But other than that it was a great breakfast....

After breakfast we dropped off Lizzie or " Eden's Best Friend" as we call her now as we were going to conference video's Saturday session.....

Then we went shopping as Phebe had been given some birthday money and then headed home for the day and a bit of a rest......

Finished the day off with Chicken Burger and Icecream Cake for Dessert......

We hope that Phebe had a great day and has a wonderful year ....

while the girls were away...

This year I was very lucky Mum when I found out that Phebe and Eliza were going on their school camps at the same time....So since this doesn't happen very often I thought I would make the most of it and makeover their bedroom.... The bedroom was first painted when we moved in (2000) pale pink with purple love hearts stenciled around as a boarder.. Which Phebe loved for many years... Then along came Eden and that meant that the older girls had to share a room...

A couple of months ago I made the bunks into two singles so I could get a head start...I loved the purple and ALOT went on the carpet as I'm trying to new carpet in there as well..

They were REALLY happy with the room when they came home....

Even done some handy work with the drill, which I was happy I didn't hurt myself.....

I hope they make some wonderful memories in this bedroom.......

Peppa the Cat

Thursday morning about 3:30am we got woken by alot of meowing coming form the lounge room. We were in trouble Peppa the cat couldn't walk!!!
Panic set in and alot off "googling" went on.....Finally the sun came up and we could take him to the vet.
Snake Bite!!! Apparently cats are tough with snake bites which was good cause the anti venom cost $1000.. So he stayed at the vet's so she could monitor him and finally he was allowed to come home that night. Currently I am baby sitting Peppa as he can't still walk yet and we be a couple of days before he can eat by himself..Hope he gets better soon , so we can start yelling at him again!!

Today it is Oscar (our dog) birthday "Happy Birthday Oscar". Maybe i should take him to the dentist for the birthday!!!xxx

Smackrels

Smackrels is a term that we use with our friend Kate... She used to teach with Gary and we used to go around to Kate's when the girls were little and we would sit outside and have "Smackrels"...
It has been a busy summer for both of us and we finally pinned Kate down to come around....
Kate loves the girls and we sit and talk about when the girls were little and how Eliza always used to spill drinks on Kate's carpet....

Kate wanted to send a pic of the girls to her Mum in Smithton, as she has not met Eden and couldn't how much the girls have grown...
Can't wait until Easter to have "Smackrels"again... Thanks Kate xxxx

I now know how to spell Hawthorn!

Last night a group of us went to see the first ALF game in Launceston for the year.. The Tassie Hawks play about four games a year, so we usually try to go to a couple of games a year. Hawthorn were playing Richmond so since none of our teams was playing ,Gary, Eliza and myself decided to go for the Mighty Tigers. Don't the Horsman's look sooo cute all dressed up in their Richmond gear. The night was of to a positive start..

When we got inside the gates the Hawthorn mascot "HAWKA" was hanging around, so Gaz wanted to have a photo with him..

Getting reading for the big game, not many people there at this point, but as you can see some members of our group for ready for the big match..

The sponsors of the game, NAB were giving out these blow up sticks that you banged together and mad some noise.. Gaz and Eliza had fun with them when the game was a bit boring..

Some of the action on the field. In the end it was a good game, but Hawthorn won buy alot and because we were sitting right besides the Hawthorn cheer squad, every time they kicked a goal they spelt out Hawthorn in their chant.....

We all know now how to spell Hawthorn....
