USA Part A

Well we finally made it. Our trip of a lifetime (that's what Gary called it). First stop Disneyland, the happiest place on earth. Some children didn't think so, crying kids everywhere.. It was the happiest place for me until I found out that SPACE MOUNTAIN was closed..Oh well i had to go and find another favourite ride..

So i stuck to the good old teacups..I love this ride, it's where all the little kids hang out. and the big kids too. He faster you spin in disk he faster you go... I love just sitting back and wacthing everyone else having fun..


It was lots of fun chasing the characters around the park to get your photo with them.. it was nice and hot in LA so they were mostly near shaded area's. This is one of our favourite photo's.

While in were in Anaheim were we lucky to catch a Los Angles baseball game. Her is Gaz with his big finger. It was huge, but not as noisy as we thought it would be. They only made noise when the White Sox's picther came out to bat!! (later was told that no team likes him)
Next stop was LAS VEGAS.. Lots of shopping, lucky most of it was inside was it was VERY HOT!! Gary shopped liked a girl in this town.. I wish every shop had a couch so I could sit down and relax while Gary the fashion Queen tried on everything... One of the highlights was see a "Vegas" show, we went and saw David Copperfield.. He was amazing we were near the front and he made this full sized car appear. It was pretty good...(I'm sure he has had some work done!!)


On the way to Provo we stopped off at Bryce Canyon. This too was amazing and beautiful too see. We didn't get to see all off it as we still had a bit of driving to do and plus the rain was coming.. then we had a long drive up to Park City, this was when i found out that Gaz was sick of listing to the GPS and was horrible at "I SPY".. What kind off word is" WIFEY"

Eden goes to Nursery.

On Sunday it was an exciting day.. Eden first week in nursery.. Many mother's can't wait for this day.. Poor Ben and Chantell for have alot of children in there this year... Lucky no-one else is coming up for a while.
This week we had some visitor's from Melbourne, Tessa and Ethan so Cathy stayed in there to help out a bit. The best bit about nursery, the food...Keeps the children quiet for a while..
Eden didn't want to go to nursery at the start, as some off her friends were missing. Ella and Owen will be there next week. Ben and Chantell do a great job, but are moving back to the mainland soon.. This is Eden doing her fake cry...

Double Digits

Yesterday was Eliza's 10th Birthday.. It started on Monday night with Pop and Roz coming over and having chocolate cake..... In true Woodward style it was involving food all the time..
After opening her presents(DS dogs, connect 4, pj's, undies, a horse book and JUST MACBETH from her fav series of books). She went to school with her 27 cupcakes!!!! One without icing for Cassie!! At night she wanted to go and watch Gary play basketball and then to Macca's where her father promised to buy her a large Meal Deal for the first time!!!!!! And then Uncle Wayne brought the girls a Sundae!!!!! After that off to bed....Hope you had a great day liza.. You finally made it onto the blog..

On Saturday we travelled down to Devonport to wacth Phebe compete in the ROBOCUP North West Regional Competition. She was representing Riverside Primary in the Dance events. They had to select a piece of music and program to the robot to move , like it was dancing... To make it more exciting the girls made some dance steps and dance with the robot. Riverside had three teams in the dance section and there was other schools participating from Launceston and the North West Coast.. Phebe's team came third and now are heading down Hobart at the end off the month for the State Finals. Phebe, Allissa, Jessica and Hannah with their robot all enjoyed the day.

Someone's sitting in my chair?

Since it has been getting colder, we often come home and see Peppa fast alseep on Eden's couch..
Now Eden uses this couch for wacthing TV and eating.. If you tell her that you are getting her something to eat, she will go straight to her couch...
The other night she decided instead of sitting on the cat(which she does most of the time) she went and found something to sit in, the washing basket........
I just hope she likes the washing basket when she gets tall enough to hang the washing on the line... Fingers Crossed....

What's in the bin?

We thought we were doing a great job as parents. We have started to teach Eden some things to do around the house.. She is very good at getting ready for the bath and putting things in the sink.(even if they are clean)

But her favourite thing to do is putting her dirty nappy in the bin. She loves doing this. But sometimes she thinks that other things should belong in there as well..........

I mean I think that she thinks that I need some new shoes...... I can live with that.......

Phebe say's " Where's my DS" ? In the bin with the battery charger... Where else would it be?

And finally just the mug! It needed washing anyway... Do we need to buy a new bin, or will we just keep an eye on it!!!! Any help with the house work is good. And with any luck she might throw Gary in there...lol/

We are off to LA

Here are some off the other photo's that didn't make the grade. Luckily the temple didn't open for sometime so we had plenty of time on our hands.

Finally my worst week ever is over and at the end we have a good result. WE WON!!!! THANKS TO YOU GUYS!!!!! So sometime this year we are taking our trip, maybe in september. (it has to been taken by december). We haven't still decided where we are going but hope to drive up to Salt Lake.We are still in shock and can't belive all the support we have had.
