Farewell....

Today's forecast was rain.. When we woke up this morning, there was no sign of rain, which mad us happy as we were having a gathering for friends and family before we went to the States.. We were holding it at one of the most popular parks in Launceston so we thought we would get there early to save some bbq's and shaded area's..... Sow while we were waiting we had some some with the pretzels...

It was good to see , soo many people there and I do apologise for more photo's ,but I was too busy socialising......

Eden is going to miss her best friend Kobe...

I feel sorry for Kobe sometimes as Eden does hold his hand a little bit tight sometimes..

I don't know what Lisa was making me do here, but it must have been cool as Georgia wanted to join in...

At the end I wanted to have a photo with Lisa, as Lisa is always taking pics of other people...

I'm going to miss everyone... even the silly looking people.....

DecemberFEST

Today was Riverside Primary School's first fair (well since the girls have been going there). It was called DecemberFEST and the committee had thought off everything..... Lots of different food stalls, lots of different things for the kids to do and lots of places where the parents could sit and chat. It was good to see so many people there, as it was the school's first.....

It was also a great chance for the girls to see their friends.........

We dragged Lizzie along too, all the girls had fun the jeeps......

One of the most popular stalls was the one where you had to throw a sponge at the teacher's.. Unfortunately I didn't get there in time to have my turn when Gaz was there, but it was still fun watching the other teachers....

Eden had fun on the Horse ride......

But most off all she had fun on the jumping castle.... Other parents were saying that she needed to be tougher cause all the other kids were climbing allover her.. Eden didn't care, she was just having too much fun...

On the weekend we were lucky enough to have the very talented Lisa from Lisa King Images take some family photo's for us....Since we are going to be away from our families for a while, I decided to get them done for Christmas presents..... My finest moments..

Yesterday marked 1 month until we leave on our adventure, so in the morning before I started attacking my list of jobs, i posted on facebook "1 month til I leave on a jet plane"....

When I logged on facebook in the afternoon, I found this on my wall.. My lovely and talented friend Lisa King had put a video together for me... It's mostly about the people at the gym where nearly every morning at 9am we pull up in the car park, drop our kids into the wonderful child care and then laugh for the next hour while in class and then we stand and talk for another half an hour....I know that when you go to the gym you are meant to get a good workout, well we do.. Just the jaw gets a the best workout.. 15 mins before the class starts and well lets just say, we have a nice chat after class as well.. I will miss Michelle's singing and her ability to ruin every new song I like.. My arms won't be sore after trying to keep up with Henry's moves..Pity the person who takes Kellie's spot when she recovers from having her new baby girl... Hope they are tough enough to take one off her stairs..Before I go, I will have to buy Simone a watch, cause she always turns up late for class.. My favourite class is Body Attack, I will miss Thomas and all the rest off us body attackers, such a fun class...As for my least favourite class would have to be Balance, which we are not dragged into anymore.. James has already gone to Queensland for the Summer, so I won't see my "number one" instructor til 2012.....

But last I used to have good chats with Jacquie in the car park,but since she doesn't go anymore, I have a new car park buddy.. Lisa....... I'm going to have to train the others to talk more....

I'm surely going to miss ALL the guys at the gym....xxxx

I'm getting excited...

It's 37 days until we start our American adventure.. We have finally decided where we are going to live ( on campus ) .. Have found schools that the girls will be attending and our chapel is going to RIGHT next door to Eliza's school.. Can you believe that......

But the things that are getting ME excited are the recipes that I am finding... I love pumpkin pie and can't wait to make these mini ones I found on the http://thecraftingchicks.com/ web site. These mini pots look soo cute and yummy and the same time.. They suggest to make them for Visiting Teaching, but I'm still thinking about that one....

Can't wait to make them....

2011 might turn me into a Molly.. hahahaha

New Toy..

Gaz came home early tonight and Harvey Norman to have a look at a notebook for myself for America.... We walked away from Harvey Norman empty handed, then we decided to venture into town and go to Stallards and have a look for camera's.. I settled for the Pentax X90... It's no a DSLR but considering a want a notebook as well I was VERY happy that Gaz brought this model..

I haven't read the instructions and the battery isn't fully charged, but I just wanted to take a couple of pics.. Eden is sporting a new hair cut, looking good Eden.....

Boxes are good for...

Boxes are good for packing up our house, so we can start this journey that we are going on but....

They are also good for playing in... Eden has been very happy playing in this box for the last hour....What am I going to do when I have no more boxes!!
