Boxes are good for...

Boxes are good for packing up our house, so we can start this journey that we are going on but....

They are also good for playing in... Eden has been very happy playing in this box for the last hour....What am I going to do when I have no more boxes!!

MY Life.. at the moment..

Since we found out that we are moving and have decided to Rent the house out ( to hopefully nice tenants) I have been doing alot of jobs around the house.. Gardening I enjoy in small doses.. But our garden has got a bit overgrown, so there is alot to do!!!

Painting is on my list to do.. I have already oiled the deck and painted the front fence, only the touch ups inside left to do..

My third job that I have grown to love is packing... The house is packed up as much as it can be... We leave in under 2 months so still a bit to do.....

Hopefully by December comes around I will have finished all my jobs and will able to spend some time with my family and friends before we go....

Because.....

Because of his guy Charles Hardie.........

Gary and I jumped on a plane to go to the wonderful city of Melbourne for the day........

We had a 9:15am appt at the American Consulate to arrange and pay for our Visa's

Gary was successful in receiving an "Charles Hardie Fellowship" through the Tasmanian Education Dept.. Gary will be studying Writing and Grammar at Brigham Young University...

So this town called Provo in Utah will be our home for the next 12 months.. We leave in in December this year and it will be in the middle of their winter, that's means lots of snow..

I'm not very good at this blogging thing, but I hope to keep you all informed about this cold and crazy adventure that Gary, myself and the girls are going on..

Where's the rest??

Tonight I brought a box of Cornetto's for dessert. I was proud as they were on special for the low price off $3:45 for a box off four... I handed them out and before too long we were enjoying our Friday night treat...

Until Phebe opened hers and found only half an ice cream.. Wheres the rest?? Phebe wanted to know??? This is what Phebe's ice cream looked like!!!!

Playing with Kobe

Over the last couple of days we have been looking after Kobe, while his older brother Noah is in hospital. Every morning Eden and I got up to the hospital to pick Kobe up and we go to the gym together..

And sometimes after the gym Kobe comes back to our house for a play..Eden and Kobe do lots together.They jump up and down in Eden's cot...

They have lunch together and they even wear the same clothes.....

And we pose for the camera together...

They play hide and seek together...

We have loved having Kobe over.. everyone wants a photo with him...

Hopefully Noah will get better soon.......

Let it Snow

Last week Felicity's good friend Mary came down from Sydney for a visit.. Mary and Joe and the boys come down nearly every year at summer time and go camping at Bridport, so we have got to know this awesome family aswell. Bradley one of Mary's boys wanted to see snow in the school holidays and Mary wanted to get away for a while, so what better thing to do was to come and see the snow in Tassie...
Off to Ben Lomond we went.. It didn't look good during the week as their hadn't been any snow fall and we really didn't see any snow until we got right to the top of the mountain..
So the search began to find enough snow to play in and have some snowball fights..
This is Flick telling us that she had found some.. She is wearing a very expensive snow gear.. A garbage bag... All the latest fashion...
Everyone had fun sliding down the hill on their home-made sleighs....
Even cold enough to cuddle up to Gaz.. HAHAHA

Lots of Jelly Slice..

During the week it was Eliza's birthday. For about the last 9 years Eliza has wanted a horse for her birthday. This year was like any other year, NO HORSE.. But she did get a DS horse game and Pop and Roz brought her a toy bulls eye ( the horse from the movie " TOY STORY".. DS games and CD's were among the other presents she receive from us and friends.. Nan and Chris took her to town on the weekend and she got her ear pieced and also some shopping..Lucky Girl..

Eliza's favourite slice is Jelly Slice, so being the lazy mother I went to a bakery in town and brought alot of Jelly Slice and made into a shape of an E for her birthday cake.. Eliza LOVED it..
