Lots of Jelly Slice..

During the week it was Eliza's birthday. For about the last 9 years Eliza has wanted a horse for her birthday. This year was like any other year, NO HORSE.. But she did get a DS horse game and Pop and Roz brought her a toy bulls eye ( the horse from the movie " TOY STORY".. DS games and CD's were among the other presents she receive from us and friends.. Nan and Chris took her to town on the weekend and she got her ear pieced and also some shopping..Lucky Girl..

Eliza's favourite slice is Jelly Slice, so being the lazy mother I went to a bakery in town and brought alot of Jelly Slice and made into a shape of an E for her birthday cake.. Eliza LOVED it..

Eden showing us the size of it... She didn't eat it, just wanted for photo taken..( I think she gets that from hanging around Kobe) !!!!

Even Phebe had to show her Jelly Slice eating skills..........

I'm Dorothy

Went shopping with Phebe this morning and found a Dorothy the Dinosaur dress up...( thanks for telling me Lisa where she brought Kobe's)...

So I guess today Eden isn't getting dressed into anything else... Best $7 I have spent in a while...

Bring on September when we are going to see Dorothy in concert...

Gary's trip

This week Gary made a trip up to the Sydney Temple for a couple of days with his mother and favourite sister.. They stayed at the Temple accommodation and Gary had a lovely time at the Carlingford Food Court, which is across the road. Gary said "Curry Concepts" was really nice.

Gillian also came along for the ride and a special guest "Penny" came down for the day... They had a lovely time together and Gary left them alone to have some girl time and went back to the temple for the evening.

Gary had a quick trip, while Maxine, Gillian and Nanna Pat are staying up and spending some time with Penny.... I can hear them talking and laughing from here...

All dressed up!!

Today Oscar our dog had a very needed hair cut.. When he came home he was wearing a very stylish bandanna.. He looks very handsome.. I wonder how long it will stay on..

Feed your Family

Tonight I decided to make a recipe from the Coles "feed your family"recipe booklet.. It is promoting meals that can feed a family of 4 for $10.... I wanted to try one and see if it was really under $10.

So I thought I'd make the "Pork curry with pineapple and snow peas.... "

So off to the super market I went...And under $10 dollars it was..

Not only was it cheap, it was a hit with the kids...( Gaz isn't home yet)..

So I'm off to by more ingredients to try the other 6 recipe's...

So if you haven't tried one off them yet..

Phebster is 13 !!!

Today was Phebe 13th Birthday.... So it all began on Wednesday when her Nan took her to go and get her ear pierced...She finally wanted them done.. So the birthday continued with Lizzie coming over Friday night for a sleepover.. They done a whole range off things, but one off them is taking randoms photo's all night.. Phebe likes taking photo's and is always using mine... I find all these randoms things on my SD card....:(

So she was VERY happy when she got a camera for her birthday, so the day was filled with more random photo's......

Phebe loves going out to breakfast, so we went to the Country Club to have a BUFFET BREAKFAST.. It was yummy.. The girls ate all the hash browns I think!!!! Eden was being a bit naughty while we were trying to eat, so Gary took her outside to see the ducks, but when she was chasing the ducks, one of the Native Hens came up and attacked her and left a big scratch on the side off her face!!!!! But other than that it was a great breakfast....

After breakfast we dropped off Lizzie or " Eden's Best Friend" as we call her now as we were going to conference video's Saturday session.....

Then we went shopping as Phebe had been given some birthday money and then headed home for the day and a bit of a rest......

Finished the day off with Chicken Burger and Icecream Cake for Dessert......

We hope that Phebe had a great day and has a wonderful year ....

while the girls were away...

This year I was very lucky Mum when I found out that Phebe and Eliza were going on their school camps at the same time....So since this doesn't happen very often I thought I would make the most of it and makeover their bedroom.... The bedroom was first painted when we moved in (2000) pale pink with purple love hearts stenciled around as a boarder.. Which Phebe loved for many years... Then along came Eden and that meant that the older girls had to share a room...

A couple of months ago I made the bunks into two singles so I could get a head start...I loved the purple and ALOT went on the carpet as I'm trying to new carpet in there as well..

They were REALLY happy with the room when they came home....

Even done some handy work with the drill, which I was happy I didn't hurt myself.....

I hope they make some wonderful memories in this bedroom.......
